The YUMEYU platform fee is 3% of the amount. On top of that come Stripe processing fees, which vary depending on the payment method used.

Q: Why does the payout not arrive immediately?

Because refunds or support requests can still come in until the event is over. Paying out earlier would mean asking for the money back afterwards.

Q: How is a refund issued?

The refund is processed against the original order and deducted from the amount still to be paid out, so it never requires fronting money from your own account.

Q: Do I need a VAT number to sell tickets?

The requirements for receiving payouts come from Stripe and your own tax status, not from YUMEYU. Whatever is needed is requested when you activate the account.

Your audience pays through Stripe, not through YUMEYU: card details never pass through the platform. The amount is then paid out to your account once the event has taken place, net of the 3% platform fee and the fees Stripe charges for processing.
